It can be a pain on projects to determine what furniture manufacturers provide CAD drawings through their websites that students can use instantly and for free. I have created a list of some for future reference:

This is definitely very helpful because I can't even count the times that I have had to google for places to find blocks. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteThanks for posting this! I agree, I always find myself goggling where to find CAD blocks, this helps a bunch.
ReplyDeleteThank you Josh, this is very helpful! It can be so difficult to find CAD blocks, and searching for them or trying to create your own can be time consuming and rather frustrating. It seems as if you've found a lot of good sources, so I will definitly utilize them in the future!
ReplyDeleteThis was an awesome thing to blog about! W have all been in the same palce where we have difficulties trying to find CAD blocks. This will definitely help out in the future!
ReplyDeleteThanks Josh! This is super helpful - like you said it is a pain to find CAD blocks especially accurate ones for our projects. This will definitely help all of us out!
ReplyDeleteI like that some of these also have models for other software like Revit and Sketchup too!
ReplyDeleteThank YOU! It would be nice if all manufacturers would realize that if there isn't a 3-D model designers are going to find a similar product that has a model - and the product with the 3-D model is what the client is going to buy.
ReplyDeleteThank you! This will definitely help with future projects and the struggle to find blocks.
ReplyDeleteYou're an angel. Finding symbols and models has to be one of the most annoying/time consuming parts of projects.
